Looks amazing, but what kind of structure is that?...What is/was it for?
Unfortunately I don't know. It's next to an old train yard....nobody in area knew it's use either....
Really? Hmm if I had to guess. It looks like it might have stored something before. The top looks kinds like a silo for holding grain or something like that. And mid ways you can clearly see a rusty chute of some sort. So It was probably used to store and load up trucks or rail cars for it to be shipped out. The container just rolles up under the chute and they fill it up. Which to me sounds like it makes sense since you said there is a nearby rail yard. But that is my best guess at it.
Great angle...Amazing location.
a lovely image indeed.
Breathtaking. A masterpiece. Gives a great impression of age, deterioration and reintegration.
This is a really cool photo
you find some absolutely stunning shots. well done ^^
I've seen many photos of abandoned buildings and stuff but this none of them impressed me as this one. Really great shot
Love this image. Wonderful.

I looks like an old gold mining mill press possibly. its still a very impressive shot well done
Am I the only one that always wants to see how these things would've worked ?
I'm curious as well, nobody in the area could tell me what this was for but I'd love to know. Thanks for looking!
